Frequently Asked Questions

Why soy-free?

We choose to make soy-free tempeh for a number of reasons. Using a variety of beans/seeds offers a different experience than with the tempeh you’re familiar with. Different textures, flavors, and uses. It allows us to be creative and keep experimenting. We are also happy to be able to offer tempeh to our friends with soy-allergies!

What are these black spots and are they safe to eat?
